Rosann Kuhn, 61, mother of Fountain woman

Rosann "Rosy" J. Kuhn, 61, died at Rochester Methodist Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, after a three year battle with cancer.
She was born March 19, 1951, in Rochester, to Kenneth H. King and Marian A. (Grendahl) King. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1969.
In 1971 she married James Kennedy and had three children. They were later divorced. In 1995, she married Ken Kuhn and was blessed with two stepsons.
She did in-home daycare, taught Sunday school and bowled for many years. Her most recent employment was with Seneca Foods in Rochester. Her relaxation was crocheting, with which she filled many homes with doilies and afghans. She was a big fan of the Minnesota Twins and NASCAR (Dale Earnhardt).
She is survived by her husband, Ken; five children, Jim Kennedy of Clarksville, Tenn., Monica (Scott) Schwier of Fountain, Travis (Veronica) Kuhn of Blue Earth, Patty Kennedy of Stewartville and Scott (Niki) Kuhn of Ogden, Kan.; 10 grandchildren, Dillon, Bailee, Amanda, Dalton, Hunter, Cheyenne, Katrina, Makayla, Dylan and Wesley; her mom, Marion King; four sisters, Ginny (Ken) Dorn, Dena (Larry) Scheidt, Darlene (Russell) Meyer and Donna (Kevin) Rollie; and one brother, Jerry King; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, her dad, her father-in-law and a brother-in-law.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Chatfield Lutheran Church.
