Teens and film will be a winning match at the Oneota Film Festival thanks to the generosity of the Iowa Arts Council (IAC - a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs) and the National Endowment for the Arts.
The one-act play competitions begin this weekend with Sub-Section 1A teams gathering on Saturday at Rushford-Peterson to earn the right to advance to the section tournament on Saturday, Jan. 30, at St. Mary’s University in Winona. The top two teams from each sub-section will advance to the next level of competition.
The Minnesota FFA Foundation announces the James W. Tracy scholarship. The scholarship is available to Minnesota high school seniors enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary school in the U.S. (certificate, diploma or degree) and studying agriculture or animal husbandry. The foundation will award five $1,000 scholarships.
