Lanesboro continues to see water pipe issues
Wednesday, February 12, 2014 8:19 AM
According to the Lanesboro Chamber of Commerce, the city of Lanesboro is continuing to experience freezing water pipes throughout town. The city will continue to work to restore water service to affected homes and businesses. However, outages may continue to occur. The City is asking everyone to please turn a cold water faucet on to a pencil sized stream.
As temperatures rise, it is essential that the water is kept running. Please continue to run water even under warmer temperatures until notified by Lanesboro Public Utilities. Water bills will be adjusted. We are working hard to restore customers as quickly as possible. We will continue to keep everyone posted as we go along. The City's cable channel, the phone at city hall (507-467-3722), as well as the City website will be updated with current information.
