Three arrested for burglary in Fillmore County

Three people were arrested Friday in Claremont for charges involving a rural Fillmore County burglary, according to Dodge County Sheriff Jim Jensen.
On Aug. 1, Dodge County investigators were contacted by Fillmore County investigators about a rural burglary in Fillmore County. Evidence discovered near their burglary scene came from a known vehicle and suspect from the city of Claremont.
On Friday, Aug. 2, Dodge, Fillmore and Olmsted county officers along with members of the Southeastern Minnesota Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at approximately 2:10 p.m. at 327 East Street North in Claremont.
Arrested on scene were Kevin Joel Tucker, 44, Samantha Jo Marcozzi, 25, and Justin Leroy Rickert, 36.
Items from the Fillmore County burglary were recovered at the scene along with several other items believed to be stolen from multiple burglaries. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were also seized during the search warrant.
All three were transported to the Steele County Jail and charged in Dodge County District Court with felony fifth degree possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of stolen property. Judge James Fabian ordered bail of $40,000 conditional / $20,000 unconditional with their next court date scheduled for Aug. 14.
There will likely be more pending charges filed in both Dodge County and Fillmore County when additional burglary victims are identified.
