Sophomore center Olivia Rogers contributed five points, while starting guard Chelsea Hanson hit a shot from beyond the arc for three. Freshman guard Cassidy Ruud had two points.

Lanesboro hit five of six from the free throw line.

The Z-M match was played on Saturday, Nov. 30.

Polin led Burro scorers versus the Cougars with five points, including a shot from beyond the arc. Junior Haely Leiding added four, while classmate Rosie Jones had three (a trey). Rogers, Ruud, Olivia Haug and Hanson had two points each.

Both teams attempted nine shots from the foul line, with Z-M hitting six and LHS canning five.

The Cougars were led by junior forward Hailey Dykes with 16 points and eight rebounds. Senior forward Carley Henning had 12.

Lanesboro were scheduled to travel to Houston on Dec. 3, after this issue went to press. Today (Thursday), the Burros are scheduled to hit the road for Lewiston-Altura High School. Grand Meadow is the opponent for Friday, Dec. 6. That game was originally scheduled for the LHS gym, but has reportedly been moved to GM.
