Lanesboro golfers competed at two meets last week. The first was the Wabasha-Kellogg "Falcon Invite," which took place on May 1. The second was an SEC meet versus Houston, held the following afternoon.
The W-K tournament featured cold, windy, and wet conditions. "We played well considering the weather and this being the girls first match of the year and the boys only second of the year," LHS coach John Smith said. "I was happy with their play for the day. We are looking to bounce back and shoot better scores as we get better weather and more practice in.
