The Harmony Arts Board hosted a showing of the paintings of local artist Joni Finnegan on Saturday, Nov. 3, at QUARTER/quarter Restaurant and Wine Bar in Harmony.
Artist Joni Finnegan shares an autograph with Tami Christianson of Preston.
A total of 95 people attended the event, enjoying the visual and culinary treats offered by Chef Stephen Larson while perusing the art created by Finnegan, which adorned the walls and areas throughout the restaurant.
Visitors drove from far and near. Several traveled from the Twin Cities to experience the event.
Finnegan was thrilled with the experience and said in appreciation of the event, "It was a lovely, lovely show, the location - QUARTER/quarter - was perfect in every way and the food . . . wonderful. The very best part of any event is the human connection. And it was at it's best today. The spirit and energy of everyone helping and attending was heartwarming."
The Arts Board supports the celebration of local artists as part of its mission to promote the arts within the community of Harmony.
