Janet Ronnenberg, 73, of Rushford

Janet A. Ronnenberg, 73, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford.
She was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Tawney, to Daniel and Minerva (Nelson) Hungerholt. She married Willard A. Ronnenberg on Sept. 3, 1955. She was a homemaker and worked at Rush Products for many years until she was diagnosed with MS and retired.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Rushford.
She enjoyed traveling, camping and going to craft fairs with her husband, cheering on her favorite baseball team, the Chicago Cubs, working puzzle books, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. One of her fondest memories was being able to go to a Cub's game at Wrigley Field.
Survivors include her five children, Sandy Ronnenberg of Rushford, Randy (Darla Rislov) Ronnenberg of Peterson, Tammy (Milo Meyer) Peterson of Rushford, Rollie Ronnenberg of Peterson and Jodi (Steve) Kingsley of Rushford; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Muriel Britt of Rushford and Shirley (Larry) Richman of Peculear, Mo.; three brothers, Duane Hungerholt of Lanesboro, Ernie (Betty) Hungerholt of Las Vegas, Nev., and Danny Hungerholt of Rushford; sister-in-law, Arlene Wenzel; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Merlin and Llewlyn and a sister, Irene.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 30, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Rushford with the Rev. Merlin Stephan officiating. Burial will take place at a later date along with her husband.
