The Fillmore Central Summer Recreation program got underway on Monday, June 3, with many kids filling the ball fields. This year, throughout all of the activities, there are roughly 175 kids participating. The activities include T-Ball, PeeWee Baseball, Little League Baseball, Girls Fastpitch, Basketball, Volleyball, Flag Football and the What's on Wednesday (WOW) activity.
This year we are glad to say we have a very strong staff as well. Our staff members include Mike Walsh, Nick Ebner, Gatlin Woellert, Ryan Bigalk, Andy Todd, Bryce Whitehill, Taylor Case and Sammi Bakke. New co-directors for this year are Brooke Ruesink and Cody Hendrickson. Our staff and new co-directors are looking forward to a great year with a great group of kids.
You can look for updates on the Little League Baseball, PeeWee Baseball and Girls Softball each week. We will give you a run through of each game and let you know what games are coming up so you can come and watch your local ball players.
