Creek bugs and fly fishing!

Every spring area creeks come to life with emerging mayflies and trout eager to eat them.
Learn how to identify creek bugs and how to match the hatch while pursuing trout on Preston's Camp Creek with fly fishing techniques. This event occurs on Saturday, April 6, from noon to 3 p.m., during Minnesota's catch and release season.
Identify blue and winged olive mayflies, catch and release angling for brown and rainbow trout, and be sure to visit the National Trout Center (NTC) while in Preston.
A valid Minnesota state fishing license and trout stamp endorsement are required to fish. Fishing equipment is not provided for this event.
