Harmony citizens, business owners, civic groups and youth are strongly encouraged to attend an upcoming community meeting on Wednesday, June 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the community center. This meeting will be a follow up to a community forum discussion held in March that considered potential opportunities to the local region presented by Rochester's Destination Medical Center initiative.

Participants need not have attended the March meeting to join this community discussion.

The focus of Wednesday's meeting will be brainstorming the many ways in which citizens and businesses can make Harmony an even more attractive place to live, work and play, at present and into the future.

Attendees can expect to break into smaller groups, according to interests, to discuss specific ideas they have for how Harmony can create better living and business climates, and attract additional visitors.

Subsequent meetings to be announced later will consider prioritization and implementation.

Everyone with an interest in the continued vitality of Harmony is encouraged to attend, especially students and young adults. The meeting is expected to last approximately an hour and a half.

If one is unable to attend this meeting, but would like to provide input or get involved in this effort, contact Economic Development director Chris Giesen by email, chris.giesen@cedausa.com, or by phone, (507) 886-2846.
