Mary Elizabeth (Libby) Hulcher, 92, once of Harmony, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012.

She was born March 19, 1920, and became a registered medical laboratory and X-ray technician. She graduated from Harmony High School (as did her four sons) and attended Rochester Junior College, Kahler School of Nursing, Northwest Institute of Medical Technology and Barnes School of Technology in St. Louis, Mo.

In 1944, she married Donald Hulcher in Carlinville, Ill. After the war and some farming, they moved back to Harmony, where Don operated a lumber business for 25 years. At that time, Mrs. Hulcher was active in civic, youth and church organizations. They moved to Rochester in 1974, where Mr. Hulcher died in 1982.

She is survived by four sons, Greg (Diane), Doug (Patcharee), Scott (Lana) and Andy (Deanne); seven grandchildren, three great-children; her sister, JoAnn (Bob) Menke of Redlands, Calif., and four nephews.

There will be a private service in the spring.
