Chatfield player, M-C coach
in volleyball all-star games

Alex Duxbury of Chatfield will play for Team Minnesota, which is coached by Mabel-Canton's Lonnie Morken, in the sixth annual Tri State Volleyball All Star Games.
The games will be played Sunday, Nov. 17, at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse Mitchell Hall gymnasium. All-star teams are from Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
In addition to Duxbury, a 5-6 libero, Team Minnesota also includes Abbey Loken of Houston, a 5-11 outside hitter.
Other members of the team are: Bailey Auseth, Kenyon-Wanamingo, 5-7, DS/libero; Meg Clark, Kenyon-Wanamingo, 5-7, setter; McKenzie Schaffer, Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial, 5-9, right side hitter; Summer McDonald, Greenway, 6-0, middle hitter/blocker; Bridget Bednar, Pierz Healy, 5-11, middle hitter/outside hitter; Taylor Holicky, Cleveland, 6-0, middle hitter; Maddie Lobenstein, Deerfield, 6-3, OH; Madison Ludowese, Buffalo Lake Hector, 5-7, outside hitter; and Leah Nightingale, Benilde-St. Margarets, 5-9, outside hitter.
The event opens at 11:15 a.m. with introductions and the National Anthem. At 11:30 a.m., Team Minnesota faces Team Iowa. Team Wisconsin plays Team Iowa at 12:45 p.m. and Team Minnesota plays Team Wisconsin at 2 p.m. Admission: $10 for adults and $5 for students.
