Six letter winners return for the Falcons this year, led by state participant Peter Rislove (sophomore) and senior captain Andy Todd. The other returnees include seniors Trevor Wangen, Ryan Mayer and Mitch Johnson and junior Matt Guttormson.

Other leading candidates are Jordan Miller (9), Sam Hanson (12), Adam Reicks (12), Michael Himlie (12), Matt Bradley (12), Dylan Thorson (12), Jacob Tammel (11), Ascher Ostrom (10), Clay Fishbaugher (10), Lucas Ronnenberg (10) and Alex Scrabeck (9).

Coaching the Fillmore Central team for the 14th year is Brad Holten. "We have most of our team back from last year's Conference Championship Team and look to contend for the Three Rivers-South once again," said Holten.

"Peter Rislove played in the state tournament last year. Our goal this year is to have the entire team at the state tournament."

Holten is optimistic about the team's chances this year - winning the conference AND going to the state as the section champion.

Assistant coach for the boys team is Aaron Mensink. Mensink is a former Fillmore Central player and will work with the younger kids, JV and junior high.

According to the schedule on the TRC website, Fillmore Central will host Southland for its season opener on Friday, April 13. The golfers' home course is in Harmony.
