While the girls are playing five games in six days, the boys are "taking it easy" with only one game played in the last seven days. That lone game ended as a 30-point loss to Southland, 76-46.

Leading the offense were Dan Gatzke, with 20, and Nick Powell, 12. Powell pulled down a dozen rebounds to complete the double-double. Gatzke hit eight of 14 field goal shots, including three of six from long range.

The Falcons' floor game was pretty much non-existent, coming up with only two steals (team high was one) and eight assists (team high was two).

In the shooting department, FC hit 18 of 42 field goals, 42.9 percent, 7 of 18 (38.9 percent) from three-point range. The team only went to the free throw line six times, hitting three of them, 50 percent.

Tuesday night the team traveled to Rushford-Peterson and this Friday the Falcons host Caledonia. The season ends the next week with games against Lewiston-Altura (Monday, away), Plainview-Elgin-Millville (home, Feb. 19) and home against St. Charles on Feb. 22.
