Mabel-Canton junior guard Noah Manning has been named to the 2013 SEC All-Conference basketball team. In addition, junior forward Justin Ward earned a spot on the Honorable Mention list.

Manning scored 256 points this season (9.5 per game), hitting 26.3 percent of his three-point tries, 41.7 percent from two-point range, and 54.3 percent from the foul line. He snagged 64 offensive and 119 defensive rebounds (6.8 per game). Manning also passed for 107 assists and grabbed 55 steals. He started in all 27 games.

Ward scored 285 points (11.9 per game). He went 36 percent from three-point territory, hit 47.7 percent of his two point tries, and sank 48.6 percent from the free throw line. Ward had 46 offensive boards and 59 defensive rebounds. He blocked 12 shots and made 51 steals. Ward had 22 starts, and played in 24 games.

In team voting, Manning won the Most Valuable Player award. Ward was honored as Hardest Worker.

The Most Improved Player award went to junior center Collin O'Bieglo. He scored 124 points, hitting 13.3 percent from beyond the arc, 45.6 percent from two-point range, and 50 percent from the line. O'Bieglo grabbed 28 offensive rebounds, 57 defensive boards, and blocked 4 shots. He had 14 steals and 30 assists. O'Bieglo saw action in all 27 games, and started in 23.

Letter-winners included senior center Logan Henry, junior guard Hunter Johnson, Manning, junior Mac Nelson, O'Bieglo, Ward, and sophomores Donnie Lind, Wesley Richert and Keyser Wenthold.

Academic All-Conference awards were earned by Henry, Manning, and Ward.
