Last outing for the FCL softball team was a week ago against an undefeated Chatfield team. The Lady Falcons lost to the Gophers in the first game of the double-header, 8-4, and will finish up the second game, this Wednesday, May 8.

In the loss to Chatfield, Taylor Case had one hit and two runs-batted-in. Morgan Malley was on the mound for the Falcons. She gave up just three hits and walked two, but five FCL errors proved to be very costly. She struck out five in the seven innings.

In the second game, FCL trails 6-0. The game is in the second inning and will be resumed from the spot.

Tuesday night the gals hosted St. Charles and then play Chatfield on Wednesday. On Thursday they travel to Dover-Eyota and then on Saturday will travel to Adams for a double-header with Southland.

Next week the team wraps up the regular season with games against Wabasha-Kellogg (Tuesday, away), Rushford-Peterson (home, Wednesday, double-header), GMLOK (Thursday, away, double-header) and Spring Grove/Caledonia (Saturday, home, double-header). Busy, busy, busy!
