The Fillmore Central Art Department will present its third annual Student Art Show on Monday, May 6. The art show will take place in the high school stage gym in Harmony in conjunction with the high school vocal music concert, which is at 8 p.m. Artwork will be on display starting at 6:30 p.m. and will remain on display until the end of the music concert around 9 p.m.

Artwork will feature pieces from students in grades seven through 12. Awards will be given to pieces, including best of show, teachers choice and honorable mention, as well as in the areas of drawing, painting, mixed media and three-dimensional in two age groups, high school and junior high.

Art work includes projects from throughout the year in mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, oil pastel, pen, pencil, marker, colored pencil, plaster masks, painted shoes, plaster carving and more.

Come out to view the artwork on Monday evening, May 6, and support the local student artists. Admission is free to the event, art show and vocal music concert.
