Larson Well Drilling locked down at least a share of the men’s softball regular season championship while eliminating Soland Carpentry from the title chase. Steuart Lab remained alive in the race but will need an upset from fifth place Mabel Liquor in this the final week of the regular season.

Spring Grove Legion doubled its score with a last-inning 6-run rally. But that was one run short of catching Mabel Liquor Store. Legion scored first and last, but Mabel Liquor led during all but the first inning. A 6-run sixth inning had Liquor ahead 13-4 before Legion scored the game's final 8 runs.

Soland Carpentry 1
Soland's demise was resounding as Larson avenged an earlier loss. LWD scored the first 6 runs and ripped off 10 runs in the top of the fifth inning. The game ended a half inning later with the run rule.
Matt Erickson blasted a 3-run home run during that late explosion.
LWD left with a one game lead over second place Steuart Lab with one game remaining.

Steuart Lab answered Crunchy's offense to make it 5-5 after one inning and 6-6 after the second inning. After Crunchy took its third lead (8-6) in three innings, Steuart finally went ahead with a 7-run reply.
Lab was nursing a 13-11 lead until a 9-run eruption in the fifth. The game ended with the run rule in the middle of the sixth inning.
