Soland, Larson Well remain undefeated at Canton

Larson Well Drilling and Soland Carpentry both remained unbeaten atop the standings after three games. Mabel Liquor (1-2) fell for the second time by a rather narrow 2-run margin.
Soland Carpentry 18,
On the Crunchy Side 10
Crunchy led 4-0 before a pair of 5-run frames put Soland ahead 10-4. OCS was back within one run (10-9) in the fifth inning before the Soland guys created some breathing room with 4 runs in each of their last two times at bat.
Ben Steuart and C. D. Hanson each hit home runs for Crunchy while Soland belted four. Nate Gosman had 2 round trippers with one each from Riker Bergo and Mitch Hogan.
Larson Well 12,
Sp. Grove Legion 2
Larson broke a scoreless tie in the second inning with a five-run eruption. Riley Austin and Eric Wilder homered in the winning cause.
Steuart Labs 15,
Mabel Liquor 13
ML opened with four runs, but Steuart replied with nine in the bottom of the first. It was15-6 before Liquor made things interesting in the last inning. After crossing the plate only two times during the previous four innings, ML rallied for five runs in the top of the seventh.
Blaine Coyle, Tory Nelson and Rick Aske all sent pitches over the fence for Liquor. Labs countered with two home runs from Levi Schmitz along with one apiece from Trevor Storlie and Marty Lesnar.
