Junior Jake Tammel, who's only played in about half of the Falcons' games this year, led the scoring against Plainview-Elgin-Millville, with eight points. Tammel was perfect for the night, hitting 3/3 from the field, including 2/2 from three-point range. Isaac Sveen had seven points and four rebounds in the 50 point loss, 82-32.

Ryan Mayer was tops in rebounds with seven.

In the last regular season game of the year, the Falcons traveled to St. Charles and lost to the Saints, 69-45. Tyler Eickhoff (13) and Sveen (12) scored in double-figures for the boys. Eickhoff hit five of 10 shots from the field and Sveen connected on five of nine.

The Falcons hit just four of 11 shots from the free throw line; Sveen was 2/3 and Ryan Mayer hit 1/2.

Sveen was tops in rebounds with seven and Olstad was credited with eight assists.

The two losses dropped the Falcons to 8-18 on the season going into the playoffs. Fillmore Central got the No. 3 seed and will play Mabel-Canton, No. 6, at home Thursday night. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
