MnDOT crews cleaning up mudslide
on Highway 250 north of Lanesboro

Motorists will encounter crews from the Minnesota Department of Transportation north of Lanesboro on Highway 250 as they clean up a mudslide near the roadway, MnDOT announced at 11:20 a.m. Friday.
The road remains open and traffic is not being detoured, but MnDOT is using heavy equipment to move mud that came down onto a portion of the highway. The area is approximately two miles north of Lanesboro.
MnDOT urges motorists to follow these recommendations in work zones:
Watch for signs, equipment and workers
Minimize distractions, such as using cell phones, eating or drinking
Follow posted speed limits and directional signs
Stay in one lane while driving through a work zone
