What gives some small businesses “the edge”? Join the Houston County Economic Development Authority for a free business development workshop on Tuesday, April 18.
The event, titled “Top Ten Reasons Small Businesses Succeed,” will be held over the lunch hour from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Four Seasons Community Center in Caledonia. 900 N. Kingston St. A free catered lunch from The Farmhouse will be provided, but RSVPs are required.
The presenter of the event will be Rick Indrelie, an expert business consultant with the Small Business Development Center. Indrelie has over 25 years of experience in the field, and he has helped his clients secure over $75,000,000 in financing and investments.
During the event, Indrelie will share how to apply the current best practices of successful businesses that work.
This event is the last in the Houston County EDA’s business development series, an initiative inspired by conversations with county business owners, nonprofit leaders and residents looking for ways to expand their business knowledge and organizational leadership skills.
“There has been such a positive response to these learning opportunities,” said Courtney Bergey, Houston County EDA director.
“We have provided professional development to over 90 local business and community leaders in the past few months, and I’m excited to see what we can all learn together at this event.”
More information can be found on the Houston County Economic Development Authority Facebook page or by searching “Houston County EDA” on Eventbrite.com.
Questions and RSVPs can be directed to Bergey at email@example.com or 507-251-9272.
