PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
That an application has been made by J.B. Holland, 2092 Highway 9 West, Decorah, IA 52101, for a Conditional Use Permit on behalf of landowners Jeff Beckman and Lucille Omodt-Crow for Mineral Extraction (Section 26 - 0110.2604) (for a nearby road construction project) in an agricultural district in Money Creek Township on the following premises, to-wit:
(Beckman parcel) A tract of land located in the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 104 North, Range 7 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Houston County, Minnesota, described as: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 26, thence North 56.0 feet to the centerline of a Township road; thence along the centerline of said Township road North 62 degrees 20 minutes East 211.5 feet; thence North 81 degrees 55 minutes East 602.0 feet; thence North 70 degrees 00 minutes East 72.0 feet; thence North 24 degrees 25 minutes East 389.0 feet; thence Northeasterly on a 200 foot radius curve 258.0 feet; thence South 79 degrees 57 minutes East 208.4 feet; thence North 79 degrees 02 minutes East 92.0 feet all along the centerline of a Township road; thence North 244.0 feet; thence East 190.0 feet; thence South 195.0 feet to the centerline of a Township road; thence along the centerline of said Township Road North 69 degrees 44 minutes East 170 feet; thence North 73 degrees 38 minutes East 267.6 feet; thence North 78 degrees 40 minutes East 530.3 feet to the East line of said Section 26; thence South along the Section line 965.3 feet to the Southeast corner of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 26; thence West 2640 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 34.86 acres more or less which includes 2.41 acres of road right of way.
(Omodt-Crow parcel) The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 104 North of Range 7 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Houston County, Minnesota containing 40 acres, more or less.
Said applicant standing and making application is on behalf of owners of the said described lands.
A hearing on this application will be held at the Courthouse, Commissioners' Room, City of Caledonia, Minnesota, 55921 at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2012. All persons having an interest in the matter will be given the opportunity to be heard relative to the granting or denying of said application.
