I work for an agency based in Caledonia called ICAN. It has been around for some years now, so it always amazes me that when I tell people where I work, more often than not they have not heard of ICAN.

ICAN provides an array of services to people with disabilities. Some people live in their own homes; some people live with roommates. Some of the people ICAN supports still live with their parents.

ICAN is a small agency but offers person centered programming and has some of the best staff I have ever worked with - staff who really care, who advocate hard for what their clients want and need, and who work as a team to get things done.

I am also a mom to a 13 year old with global developmental disabilities. I recently had to choose an agency to provide habilitative services for him. My choice was ICAN.

For you parents out there who have kiddos who are going to need services in the coming years, don't rely on others to tell you what is out there.

You have to do the research for yourself. At least check out what ICAN has to offer! You won't be disappointed.

Please feel free to call me!
