Post Office needs help in clearing snow from mailboxes

Customers, we need your help! The Spring Grove rural carriers travel over 200 miles a day to over 800 mailboxes. Time does not allow them to dismount their vehicle to deliver to your mailbox due to a buildup of snow and ice.
We need each mailbox owner to dig out his or her box. It is a responsibility shared by each mailbox owner no matter where your box is located. Whenever possible, clear out 20 feet so carriers can approach and exit your mailbox.
Hats off to Four Season Maintenance for the wonderful job they do clearing snow from our post office, keeping our customers safe. Big thanks to the township and city snow removal crews that keep our roads clear and safe. We appreciate your work.
