The Spring Grove Lions would like to invite all of you to come out and enjoy the 2014 Syttende Mai celebration in Spring Grove MN this year. There are so many wonderful fun-filled family events sponsored by your local Spring Grove Lions Club. Events starting out bright and early Saturday morning are with Dad's Waffle Breaks at the Fest Building serving from 7:30 a.m. through 10 a.m. Followed from 9 a.m. through noon with a classic car show at Lee Auto Body on Highway 44 west, shine up that beautiful classic have some fun!

There are great events in store for the kids as well, such as the Mutton Bustin'! Mutton Bustin will be held at the Fest Building with registration starting at 9:30 a.m. at the event gate. Age groups are four to five year old, and six to seven year old (80 pound weight limit) with T-shirts for the first 35 entrants!

After the Grand Parade, head on over to South Division Avenue and have a blast at the annual Soap Box Races. Cost is $3 per run and helmets are provided for those who don't have their own. All ages are welcome children under three years of age need parental permission to drive.

Your Spring Grove Lions are also going to be kicking off the sale of tickets for the 2014 Chevy Silverado truck to be raffled off at Uffda Fest weekend in October.
