Twenty-four members of this fall's potential incoming kindergarten class got a little taste of the "big school" on Feb. 15 during Kindergarten Round-Up.

The students and their parents ate breakfast together before traveling to the kindergarten room.

After introductions, the parents went with Superintendent Rachel Udstuen and Principal Nancy Gulbranson to learn more about the whole school experience and to have any of their questions answered regarding their child beginning school.

The students spent time with kindergarten teachers Betty Johnson and Amy Milbradt, along with Beary Patch Preschool teacher Bethany Bergsgaard. The students toured the school with these teachers, enjoyed a snack and had time for free play. Families For Education (F.F.E.) provided the snack for the students.

The event was for students 5 years of age by Sept. 1, who are eligible for kindergarten in the fall.
