As an end-of-the-year special event, the Middle Ages students from Spring Grove Public School spent an afternoon swimming at the Spring Grove Family SWIM Center. They were the first to dip their toes into the water this year!

Their trip to the pool was made possible by their Middle Ages fund. The fourth-grade class helped contribute to this fund when they drew pictures at Christmas-time that were published in the Herald.

These pictures were sponsored by area businesses and a portion of the sponsorship went back to the students, helping to make activities like this possible.

The pool officially opened on Saturday, June 1. Family, individual and day passes are still available for purchase.

The SWIM Center is open Monday-Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. It is open weekends from 1 to 5 p.m. More details about entrance fees and swimming lessons can be found on the Spring Grove community website, www.springgrovemn.com.
