The Town Halloween Party was held ahead of Halloween this year. Many children and parents were in attendance enjoying games, face painting, cookie decorating and supper on Oct. 28. Town Halloween partygoers included many colorful, scary and creative costumes.

Kids have another chance to celebrate Halloween on Wednesday, Oct. 31, when they will have the opportunity to go trick-or-treating throughout town.

The preschoolers and young children in daycare can trick-or-treat during the day at local businesses from 10 a.m. until noon. Later that evening will see many more children decked out in costume as they participate in the citywide trick-or-treating from 5 to 8 p.m.

Many will also be trick-or-treating for UNICEF - watch for the special UNICEF boxes as the children come to the door. They are asking for a small donation of something as simple as a quarter or whatever people would like to donate.
