Frida Bryn of Solbergelva, Norway, will arrive on Aug. 27 to spend the next school year in Spring Grove.

Frida will be a member of the Spring Grove Class of 2014. She is a part of the Youth For Understanding Youth Exchange (YFU). Several families in Spring Grove have hosted YFU students in the past.

She will be a member of the David and Rachel Storlie family in town. Frida's father was an exchange student in 1977-78 in Caledonia and lived with Lee and Gayle Grippen. He was with them when Rachel (Storlie) was born.

Frida looks forward to becoming an active part of the Spring Grove High School and community during her stay.

It is hoped that many Spring Grove folks will get to know her and learn more about her Norwegian culture during her stay here.

Families are still needed to host YFU students during the coming school year. Families are encouraged to contact Lee Grippen in Caledonia for further information at (507) 725-3281.
