The Spring Grove boys varsity, B-team and junior high basketball teams combined to win 62 games this winter. With three sophomores starting for the varsity and another a valuable varsity reserve, only one sophomore saw significant action in B-team games, which normally feature sophomores and freshmen. This year, the B-team was primarily a combination of freshmen, eighth graders and seventh graders. Those Lions still had a 13-8 winning record against almost always older opponents including a 43-39 victory over Caledonia.

In eighth grade games, over half of the players were seventh graders; however, those Lions still finished 16-1 (splitting two games with Caledonia). Many sixth graders played in seventh grade games. Here are the scores from all four teams plus team statistics for the varsity boys.
