Tanner Draper hit a walk-off two-run home run to win the first game of Chiggy's twin bill sweep on Aug. 7 - the final night of league play for the Canton Men's Softball League in 2012. Look for the Canton Day Off Tournament Results in next week's paper.

In between those two Chiggy triumphs, first-place Canton Pub pulverized second-place Canton Bank.

Chiggy's 13, Steuart's 11

Steuart's 2-0-0 0-5-4 0 = 11

Chiggy's 0-0-4 4-3-0 2 = 13

Steuart's never led but came from six runs down to tie the game in the sixth inning. Draper's game-winning blast over the left field fence came in the bottom of the final seventh. It was his fourth round tripper of the season.

For Steuart's, Dustin Bunke hit his fourth home run of the season and Trevor Storlie his fifth.

Canton Pub 24, Canton Bank 10

Pub 5-10-0 3-3-1 2 = 24

Bank 2- 0-0 0-7-0 1 = 10

The Pub blew the game open with a 10-run explosion in the second inning. Canton Bank trailed 21-2 before salvaging some respect with a late seven-run reply.

Paul Tollefsrud hit his seventh home run of the summer for the Pub.

Chiggy's 20, SG Legion 14

SGL 1-0-1 1-2-7 2 = 14

Chiggy's 3-6-2 3-2-4 x = 20

Chiggy's scored in every inning and was in control all game. It assured Spring Grove Legion of sole possession of the cellar

Tyler Qualey won the home run crown with his eighth fence-clearing blast of the season. Another Chiggy's homer came from Luke Bergo. Ryan Lange sent one over the fence for the Legion.
