The United States Racing Association roared into Decorah last weekend for the Iron Man Series Championship for Stock Cars and B-Mods. Support classes included Hobby Stocks and 600 Mod-Lites.

In the Stock Car feature, Decorah drivers Mitch Hovden and Kevin Donlan finished 1-2, respectively. Bryan Webb was fourth and Kyle Falck fifth, both of Decorah. Spring Grove's Pete Solum took sixth. Jake Lampert of Caledonia finished ninth.

Iowan Brian Mahlstedt won the B-Mod feature, followed by Troy Hovey of Decorah. Matt Jones of Waukon took fourth while Caledonia's Taylor Knutson took the 14th spot.

Steve Holthaus of Cresco walked away with all the marbles in the Hobby Stocks feature. Three Decorah drivers followed -- Robert Anderson second, Jesse Holzer third, and Joshua Ludeking fourth. Nathan Olson of Harmony snagged eighth place, while Spring Grove's Jeremy Oakes took 10th. Lanesboro's Adam Sveen finished 13th.

Joe Provinzino of Chanhassem, Minnesota won the Mod-Lites class. Rushford's Curt Luhmann took fourth, followed by Christopher Eide of Peterson. Caledonia's John Griffin was sixth followed by Harmony's Todd Kiehne. Mabel driver Eli Hershberger took 13th. Harmony's Corey Whalen finished 18th in the well-filled field.
