RFD-TV's music and variety hit "The Mollie B Polka Party" is headed to Ennis, Texas, for a live, participatory, audience taping on Thursday, Feb. 21 through Sunday, Feb. 24.

For audience members who wish to take part in the active dance segments, but who might not be acquainted with Polka, the show is offering complimentary lessons every morning starting at 10 a.m. Dance lessons will be provided by Valina and Ross, the shows featured instructors.

The entire event will feature more than 20 different bands from the global world of polka music. The Jim Busta Band of Spring Grove is among the polka bands scheduled to perform.

Each day will feature up to nine bands and performances for both polka enthusiasts and those wishing to learn more about this rapidly spreading music and dance phenomena.

All four days will be taped and will be featured on the hit TV series, the "Mollie B Polka Party", which airs each week on RFD-TV.

In a brief interview on the RFD-TV network, Mollie B said of the upcoming event, "I am looking forward to spending time with everyone - from the dancers, to the toe-tapping listeners, to the bands, to my camera crew, to the folks at the hall. It really will be a fun party! If I haven't met you yet, I look forward to meeting you. And if I have met you at a Polka Party, welcome back!"

The "Mollie B Polka Party", which tapes around the country, has a growing legion of fans. Thousands of participants have been involved with the show since it first aired on RFD-TV in 2011. As Mollie explains, "These Polka Parties are beginning to feel like big ol' reunions."

The Mollie B Polka Party will be filmed at the Sokol Activity Center, 2622 E. Hwy. 34 in Ennis.
