Skies were dry on Sunday for the Houston County Airport's Fly-in/Drive-in Breakfast!

The 45th annual breakfast at the airport outside of Caledonia served approximately 425 meals on June 30 with the help of the Caledonia Lions Club. This number included 20 planes that flew to the airport for the event.

The event is hosted each year by Houston County Flyers, Inc. This group serves as a "friend of the airport", and its members advocate for the facility including its maintenance and upkeep.

Members of the club also offered aerial views of the area with $20 plane rides. About 70 people enjoyed rides hosted by two local pilots.
