With the annual Oshkosh, Wis., Air Show/Fly-In recently held, the Houston County Airport in Caledonia was a busy place selling gas to the airplanes both going and returning from the show, Glenn Kinneberg of Spring Grove reports.
This year, it was 75 years since the first Piper Cub airplanes were manufactured. The hope was to have 200 cubs parked in one area to create a sea of yellow - 184 attended and Kinnberg's cub was one of those.
