This past week in Spring Grove, Main Street began to look more like a real street with the installation of the light poles west of Division Avenue. Grading of the Division Avenue intersection and then the pouring of curb and gutter at that intersection. Bases for light poles were also poured east of Division Avenue. The stone wall was also constructed at the north west quadrant of 1st Avenue NE.

Plans for this coming week include the continued pouring of the curb and gutter at Division Avenue intersection along with fine grading of the aggregate base. Greenery will be reappearing along Main Street with the planting of trees and placing of topsoil and sod west of Division Avenue.

West of Spring Grove on Highway 44, the paving of the first lift of bituminous pavement from the Underpass Quarry to Highway 52 and the Highway 44 intersection began. Flaggers and pilot cars will have control of the single lane traffic.
