Police department reminds residents of upcoming license expirations

The Spring Grove Police Department reminds residents that all 2012 ATV permits will expire on Dec. 31, 2012.
For those wanting to purchase the 2013 permit, applications are available at Spring Grove City Hall or available on its website at www.springgrove.govoffice.com.
Proof of insurance and a payment of the $50 fee must accompany the application before a permit can be issued.
Animal licenses also due
All 2012 animal (cat or dog) licenses will also expire on Dec. 31, 2012. The 2013 animal licenses are available at City Hall or Tri-County Veterinarian Services, 504 E. Main St. in Spring Grove.
Animal licenses are $22 and current rabies vaccination for the animal must be provided before a new license can be issued.
Friendly reminder on parking
A reminder to residents that there are parking restrictions in the City of Spring Grove. Ordinance states:
"All motor vehicles, trailers, or other vehicles shall be removed from all city streets and alleyways within two hours after a snowfall of two or more inches or after an ice storm until the street or alleyway is plowed/sanded. For streets, that shall mean curb to curb.
"Should a snow/ice event occur between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., vehicles should be moved as soon as practicable but no later than 8 a.m."
