Waterloo Creek Watershed Project receives $100,000 grant

The Waterloo Creek Watershed Project will receive funds from the Watershed Improvement Review Board (WIRB) for a project grant in 2013-2014.
It was one of 12 projects chosen to receive up to $100,000 funding. The grant funds will be matched with federal EQIP (Environmental Quality Incentives Program) dollars to provide up to 75 percent cost-share funding for terraces and grade stabilization structures of landowners in the Iowa portion of the watershed.
