What happened to the Spring Valley Grower/Farmers' Market sign?

To the editor:
Our market sign was damaged by a "hit and run" driver over the winter. (Whoever did it must have suffered damage and scratches to their vehicle, as that sign is big and heavy.)
If you saw anything, please let Barb Smith know about it.
In the meantime, Grafix on the Go, Jayson Smith, has picked up the sign, repaired it, and returned it to the market site at no cost to the market. Thanks, Jayson.
The market will be open again this year. The market hours are Saturdays, 1 to 3 p.m. Vendors may arrive early to set up their stands.
To become a vendor/seller at the market, one must complete an application and pay a $20 fee for the May through October season. Stop in at Grafix on the Go and pick up an application from Barb Smith or call her at (507)-272-8818 to request one. All applications must be turned in to Barb by the end of April or May 1 at the latest, as the market opens the first Saturday in May, which is May 4.
