Jason Philip Wolff, 30, of Grand Meadow, died unexpectedly Monday, March 5, 2012, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.
He was born Jan. 12, 1982, in Rochester, the son of Bradley and Theresa (King) Wolff. He lived in the Grand Meadow area his entire life and loved the small-town lifestyle. He graduated from Grand Meadow High School in 2000. He was actively involved in his community and proudly served on both the Grand Meadow City Council and the fire department. He was employed by CHS Elevator in Grand Meadow.
"Woolfy" was one-of-a-kind. He holds a special place in the hearts of his family and friends. He was very curious and adventurous. He enjoyed taking road trips and visiting other small towns. His interests included road construction projects and railroads.
He is survived by his parents, Bradley and Theresa Wolff of Grand Meadow; a sister, Lisa (Bret) Klaehn of Chatfield; a nephew, Collin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marie and Philip King of McIntire, Iowa, and his paternal grandparents, Delores and Gordon Wolff of Adams.
The funeral service was March 8 at St. Finbarr Catholic Church in Grand Meadow. The Rev. Steve Peterson officiated, with interment at St. Finbarr Catholic Cemetery.
