Warren Kenneth Drinkall, 78, of Annawan, Ill., died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, in the emergency room of Kewanee Hospital.

Warren was born on Feb. 15, 1935, in Spring Valley, the son of Bernice (Bauer) and Lloyd Drinkall. Warren graduated from Wykoff High School. He married Monica (Smith-Briggs) on Nov. 27, 1965, in Spring Valley. Warren and Monica moved to Annawan in 1972. Warren worked at the Chicago Atkinson Livestock Market until he retired in 1997. He enjoyed country music, fishing, watching western movies and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

Warren is survived by his wife, Monica; two sons, Craig (Michelle) of Hooppole, Ill., and Kevin (Angela) of Kewanee, Ill.; two stepsons, Lonnie (Sue) of Mt. Horeb, Wis., and Jeff (Dee) of Princeton, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three siblings, Darrell (Vivian) Drinkall of Spring Valley, Larry (Clarice) Drinkall of Missouri and Marcella (Donald) Jonas of Goodhue, Minn.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald and grandsons Brandon and Dalton.

A funeral service celebrating his life was Saturday, Oct. 26, at Vandemore Funeral Homes Ltd., in Atkinson, Ill. The Rev. Terry Lancaster officiated. Burial was at Annawan Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Warren's name to the Annawan/Alba Rescue Squad.
