A 12-year-old boy was transported to an area hospital Friday by Mayo One after being run over by a motor vehicle in Wykoff.

According to Captain John DeGeorge of the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office, the Spring Valley area ambulance and Wykoff first responders were called to respond to a residence in Wykoff on Aug. 30 at 6:16 p.m. for a 12-year-old male who had been run over.
