The Jorgensen family welcomed a new addition this winter.
The familiar SATA distribution building was joined by a new addition earlier this winter, creating more space for their popular products. PAULA VAGTS/SPRING VALLEY TRIBUNE
It's large enough it can be seen from Highway 63 and the family couldn't be prouder.
Knud Jorgensen explained that the family's company, Dan-Am, which he runs alongside his father, Hans, and brother, Bent, is the exclusive distributor for SATA products in the United States and they were getting a bit cramped. Running out of room for their disposable cups used for spray guns in their building, it was decided they needed more space to house their popular products.
So beginning in late October work began on a new 12,000 square foot addition to their business.
The work was completed three months later, just in time to beat the deep freeze of winter.
Jorgensen says they are busy filling the space with their inventory and hopes the extra square footage will help keep the products neat and organized.
He explained that many of their products are used in body shops and by airlines across the country. They've even been featured on shows such as "Overhaulin'" and "Orange County Choppers" and have famous fans, including Jay Leno.
