The Spring Valley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its third annual business expo on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kingsland High School with booths set up in the Kingsland Café and gym.

The free-admission event will be fun for the whole family. During the expo there will be entertainment with a performance by Suzanne Eberle on the piano at 9:30 am and the Just for Kix dance program participants performing at 11:30 a.m. and KFIL playing music all morning and doing live radio spots throughout the event.

The Kingsland SACC program will have beanbags and other fun activities, kids can build birdhouses with Dave Foster. The Chamber will play "spin the wheel" where participants will have a chance to win money, gift certificates and lots of other fun prizes. At 1:30 p.m. there will be a youth and adult runway fashion show by Chateau de Chic.

Close to 50 exhibitors will have drawings for prizes, food samples or items for sale. They will have information about their business or they will be there to answer questions. The expo will also have many home-based businesses. Also, the Junior Parents will be holding a fundraiser with items for sale during the event.

Visitors are also encouraged to bring a canned food item for a donation to the Spring Valley Area Food Shelf.

The expo is here to encourage people to shop locally and see what Spring Valley has to offer. Spring Valley businesses want to keep the community thriving and in order to do so they need the support of everyone living in the area.

The Spring Valley Chamber of Commerce would like to "invite everyone to come and check out all the new events and vendors. We want the Spring Valley Business Expo to be a fun and successful annual event."
