Come smaller...or taller.
There's fun hatching at every height.
"Every child from the smallest to the tallest will have eggs to find," said Wykoff United Methodist Church (WUMC) Pastor Amanda Larsen, "and there will be eggs with candy inside them and a special prize for the child who finds the golden egg."
WUMC welcomes children to its Easter egg hunt on the church lawn before services on Easter Sunday, April 8, at 9:45 a.m.
There will be three age divisions for the hunt - zero to three, four to six and seven and up. Children can bring their own baskets, but the church will have extras if they don't.
Larsen noted, "The hunt is sponsored by the Breath of Life Committee, a group that helps WUMC reach out to the community, and there will be coffee and doughnuts for everyone. Teens and adults will watch the hunt. Also, people are invited to stay for worship at 10:30."
Larsen stated that the hunt will go on even if it's raining enough to float an ark, as the hunt will be held inside the church building.
"We hope to have fun and would love to see lots of kids there - we enjoy seeing the smiles on the children's faces when they find an egg."
Wykoff United Methodist Church is located at 236 Gold St. St., Wykoff. For more information, call 507-352-4136 or e-mail Larsen at firstname.lastname@example.org.
