I live for

The pain and

The times I have been wrong

For

The sweat, The blood, the tears

For

The secret silent dream

For

The pressure that threatens to crush me

For all

The effort that went without prize

For

The very falseness of my lies

For

The gifts only I possess

For

The last of my sanity

For

The friends who do not care what

The mirror claims

For

The fathers, sisters, brothers up above

For

The mountains I have climbed and

The light that has shone

For

The promise of tomorrow,

The remake of today.

For

The moments when time flies

For

A promise never broken

For, maybe for,

Just a reason to live

For

The good times and the bad

For

The minutes of happy and

The decades of sad

For

The warmth of the summer

For

The chill of the snow

For

The scars you hide

For

The things you know

For

The fear of rejection

For

The times you do not care

For

The time spent on others

For

The times you were not there

For

The very courage to say, "I can."
