The Kingsland boys basketball season came to an end last week with a loss to Lake City in the sub-section quarterfinals, 77-51.

Junior Filip Swanson led the team with 16 points, one of his better efforts this season. Senior Marshall Oeltjen finished his high school career by contributing 11 points. Freshman Quinn Larson added nine points and junior Jordan Meskill had six.

The Knights had four three-pointers in the game, two from Meskill and one each from Larson and Oeltjen. Kingsland was 13 for 19 from the free throw line against the Tigers.

Also scoring for Kingsland were De'Angilo Funches (4), Lenny Moore (3) and Marcus Plaehn (2).

The Knights finished the season at 7-20, 5-15 in the Three Rivers Conference.
