The Kingsland Knight football team finished the regular season Wednesday with a loss to No. 1 rated Caledonia, 42-6. The Knights ended the 2013 regular season at 0-8.

Kingsland had 47 yards of total offense in the game, led by 43 passing yards from quarterback Quinn Larson and 39 rushing yards from Jacob Rindels. Rindels had the lone score for the Knights, a six-yard run in the fourth quarter. Isiah Bubany led the receiving corps with three catches and 26 yards. In the first round of the Section 1A football playoffs, Kingsland (No. 8, 0-8) traveled to Blooming Prairie (No. 1, 8-0) this past Tuesday. The game took place after this week's edition was printed. A Knights' win would find them traveling to either Goodhue or Fillmore Central this coming Saturday, Oct. 26.
